Default Feels like my front drivers tire is flat but is fine

Okay so after picking my sister up from school yesterday, I went to turn onto the road (kind of a sharp turn) and it felt like my front drivers side tire was flat. I parked and got out and looked and it was perfectly aired up (along with all the rest of the tires) What could be causing this problem? Its my daily driver and I need to find out what is causing this.

My guess is that one of the belts inside your tire has shifted or broke. Try jacking the tire up and with your hand check for any flat spots. just a guess

I concur. Same sensation happened to me on the Ranger, belt bad. It wasn't visible-thought the tire guy was just trying to "sell" me. I replaced it and the sensation was fixed instantly.

Could be a bad axle ujoint binding up when you're turning.

Long shot could even be a wheel weight came off throwing it off balance.

Two good causes posted but if you would elaborate on if it only does this while turning or if it happens going straight would help to determine the problem.

Only said two because he did say sharp turn. No way a XJ could take a sharp turn at a high enough speed for a wheel weigh to cause a problem.

I tried jacking it up like you said and the tire was not flat in any spots. Could it of possibly been because I was locked it 4 wheel drive? This is the first time it has ever acted up like this.

If it was in 4wheel on hard ground that is normal. It should be smooth in 2wheel though. Check unit bearing,u-joint & ball joints.
