Fan Clutch Hitting Radiator
Need some help, I have a '92 xj that the factory radiator has been leaking for months so decided to replace it with a champion 3 core rad. We replaced all the lines and hoses, the water pump, & the thermostat. After installing the new radiator everything worked perfectly until the second time I drove it. I get home and all the coolant pours out. After removing the fans to look at the radiator we find that the fan clutch hit the new radiator. Now we're replacing the fan clutch, but will that fix this problem and if not what do I do.
close up of the damage from the clutch
the clearance between the new radiator and the fan clutch was about 1/4"
