Extended Lower Control Arms
I have 2'' coils with 2.25'' spacers on them. Needless to say, it rides like hell. So my question is, how much, if any, would longer lower control arms improve ride quality? Ok, my second questions is, what if I were to get 4'' front coil springs as well as longer lower control arms?

That all depends on your alignment.
You mean that it rides rough? or it handles poorly?
Longer lower arms will allow you to correctly adjust castor and help with handling but not help with a harsh ride.
The only way you're going to make the ride any better is lower the control arm angle.
The only way to do that on short arms is with drop brackets.
Drop brackets would make your ride a lot smoother.
Once you have drop brackets installed you need to look at your shackle angle. A poor shackle angle will make it ride like a wagon with square wheels. You should have a nice 45 degree shackle angle.
I'd also look into replacing control arm bushings. That also improves your ride.

Im at 4" of lift with stock lowers and mine rides nice. Control arm angle isnt to bad. I put stock jk Rubicon shocks on made a huge difference in ride quality. Thats where I would look. When I had 2" spacer lift and stock shocks rode like ****. A vertical shackle angle will also make ride poor.

I have never heard of drop brackets. Do you have a link? But yes, it rides very, very rough. I think that because I have spacers on top of a 2''lift spring is the majority of m rough ride. Also the steering could use a little help. It just kind of floats, but I just always thought it was a Jeep thing. I plan on getting some new shocks but I'm not sure what to get. I am considering Billstein 5100's because they are aluminum but I am not sure what the ride quality is like. I don't offroad in it because I'm a college student and I don't need **** breaking lol. So it's road *****...

Those are good shocks, upper middle class in quality. shocks is what I would look into, a spacer shouldn't give you a harsh ride. topped out shocks or poor quality/stock will.

I was thinking that the main issue would be the shocks. I dont know if the shocks that are on it are only for a 2" lift so I think I'm going to start there. Any suggestions? I dont think I am interested in SkyJacker or Pro Comp because I have seen them rust out too fast. Also, what are you opinions on drop pitman arms?

I dont think drop brackets or dropped Pitman arm are needed or will help ride/steering at 4" of lift. Shocks the 5100 seem to be what alot of people like. I havent run alot of shocks to give a sold opinion. Someone will jump in point you in the right direction.
