I have a 4.0 88 cherokee limited with a Dana 30 high pinion in the front of my rig and the after my last wheeling trip i crawled under and saw that when i flex the front it is smashing my exhaust downpipe. Has anybody else had this issue? if so is there anybody who makes a exhaust kit for this?

If you're talking about the dent, it's there from the factory.

Put a pic of it. Like mentioned above their will be a dent in the pipe. I have an 89 and I flex mine out all the way and I don't hit my exhaust.

He is for real. There is a crushed section from the factory. It's a small section that some have figured is a recess for the front DS

when i noticed it it was shiny bare metal the pic i just took it is now rusty. sorry the pic is sideways I see the flattened spot you are talking about the area it is hitting is at the lower part of the downpipe.

Mine hits there too, the stock dent is above where mine hits. I now have a decent size hole in the exhaust and makes it sound like crap because of this.

I figured i was not the only one to have this problem it looks like there is enough room to move the pipe but will have to pay sombody to make a custom bend .
