Engine Compartment Cleanup
Ok this is the first Jeep Ive ever owned. I must say. There is more junk under the hood than on any vehicle ive ever seen. I live in Alabama. We do not have vehicle inspections. So is there anything emissions wise under the hood that can be taken out or bypassed?

Go check out under the good of a brand new Audi, BMW, or any other modern car for that matter. There's WAY more under there than there is under the hood of these Jeeps!

My engine bay is more roomy than most. No anti-lock brake system.
The funny part is, that I learned to drive in this car, and it was only after I'd been driving for a few years that I learned enough about cars to realize that mine didn't have that ABS thing nobody can live without.

Why remove emission stuff? Rerouting the wiring harnesses, fuse box, battery, and coolant overflow tank will have a greater visual impact.
You don't have any info listed about your jeep, but installing the 97+ washer fluid bottle clears up some space. It's not plug-n-play but close.
