Default emergency brake light

Just changed my brake shoes and my emergency brake light stays on even if the emergency brake is not pulled up is there a sensor for that and where is it

somethings wrong. check for leaks on the wheel cylinders and check to make sure the ebrake is adjusted properly. the ebrake wire is a single ground interrupt next the the driver's seat.

Also the light is turned on by the sensor on the proportioning valve, indicating a failure in the brake system.

Maybe some air in the line. Did you bleed them properly, this can do it.
