The A/C / alternator bracket will be in the way because of the XJ fan drive protrudes out. A ZJ bracket doesn't have that and will give you more room.

One of mine had one when I bought it. It was one of those universal ones with the peg type clips that go through the radiator fins to hold it on. I'm pretty sure the 20 mile drive home on rough roads after purchasing it made it rub too much and by the time I got home I had a leak. If you purchase one if those don't mount it that way. Not sure why anyone would or why they would even make those stupid mounting things. I'm going to use that same fan only get a stock shroud for the mechanical fan and adapt it to it somehow. There are a few write ups on CF if you do some searching.

As another option, we make an aluminum shroud that fits three 10" electric fans. Made of .080" 5052 aluminum and bolts on without modification. Just drill your own holes to mount the fans of your choice, to the shroud. http://dbmetalworx.com/#!/Jeep-chero...egory=13125360
