electric fan conversion?

electric fan conversion?
Hey guys i have a 16inch electric fan and I wanted to know if i could use it in my xj to eleminate my mechanical fan? I have a 4.0L six cylinder and automatic transmission. I have the auxilary fan as well. I know that a 14 inch can be used in the stock shroud but i was wondering if the 16 could be used or should i sell it?
