Default Dumb question about shackle lift

Okay so I have a current shackle lift on my xj now on the rear (2in) but getting 3in iro springs up front and noticed there were two more holes to go up on the shackle lift but me thinking about it too hard couldnt figure out if going up would give me more lift or decrease it! Eventually im gonna get full 3in leafs but funds dont allow it right now and wanting to know if this will work (: ill post a pic below if what I mean

You would decrease the amount of lift by moving to one of the other holes.

If those leafs are as flat as they look in your pic, that's not safe.

Those leafs are on the verge of failing right now any higher would only make it worse. Just wait till you can do a proper lift kit with new/leafs/coils/shocks/hardware all at the same time.

Or do a bastard pack on the rear with new shocks and coils.
