Last time i took my Cherokee out it got wet .So i put a snorkel on it i just tried it out and it did the same thing. If u give it gas it spits and sputters but it will idle fine. Never Dies Maybe :some thing electric or a vacuum hose. Any ideas?

I have seen cracked coils do this before. Take the coil off and inspect it for cracks. Unless its a newer model then you wont have a coil.

Air box is water free I take it?

What does 'spits and spoters' mean?

Have you checked your TPS yet? They REALLY don't like getting wet. Also if you haven't sealed everything with dielectric grease it's time to take apart all connectors under the hood and hit them with some air.

BTW, this is an idol:

Do you mean idle?
