Do I need a drop pitman arm with this bracket? I've heard yes and no's, just need a straight answer.

will that bracket drop the mounting point of track bar from factory location is where your answer lies, if its lower use the longer pitman if same as factory use stock pitman.

RE bracket is NOT a drop bracket. Looks like it would be, but since it mounts the TB in double sheer it has the illusion of a drop. If your TB/DL angles are the same or REALLY close, then I would say no on a drop pitman arm.

I was at 4.5" and didn't need anything dropped. Now ACOS spacers adjusted to 6" and crossver steering installed, I still haven't dropped the pitman arm or added a stabilizer and it steers pretty good. My play is from a worn box, otherwise it would handle great.

I'm going to be doing a 6.5'' lift, I just bought the IRO adjustable double shear track bar, I was wondering if it'd be wise to get a drop pitman arm. I have stock steering, but I'll be going to the WJ steering.
