Default Driveshaft too long?

Hey guys, just swapped in my new Dana 44 but I think I have a problem. Is my drive shaft too long now? Is it safe to drive, or is it time for a SYE?

Grab a drive from a Chrysler 8.25" equipped XJ at the JY.

My boss is a certified welder and said he would shorten it for me. But I think I'll be ordering a SYE or hack and tap pretty soon. Any suggestions? I was thinking of the IRO hack and tap kit

Make sure you get the shaft balanced.

don't run it like that, when you compress, you will smash your t-case into pieces.
you should've grabbed the drive shaft with the axle.
