Drag link hitting sway bar link?
I just installed a 5.5 inch RE in my XJ and noticed that my passenger side sway bar link was loose, no pin. I did notice that the drag link was hitting the sway bar link. What do I have to do now to prevent it from hitting?

So I did a little Google searching, and it seems this is somewhat common with the RE 5.5" lift. Seems the general consensus is to either do OTK steering (which I actually don't know anything about, I'm just parroting what other have said) or to adjust the sway bar brackets. Hopefully I don't get flamed for posing another forum link, but post number 15 on this: http://www.naxja.org/forum/showthread.php?t=1030556 shows the guy installing a taller sway bar link bracket to be taller and provide clearance

My simple solution would be to cut the swaybar mounts off. I'm not a huge fan of swaybars on anything that sees trail time. I haven't had swaybars on my DD for about 2 years and haven't missed them.
