drag link.

OK I'm posting in advanced because I'm dealing with my lift but if it belongs in OEM move it accordingly.

I have a 3" lift with 2" coil spacers and shackles. I moved the track bar over about 3/4" and now my steering wheel was way outta wack. Adjusted the drag link till I ran out of adjustment and my steering wheel is still not straight.
So how do I fix this. The Jeep drives straight down the road no pulling or anything I just want the wheel straight. Does my pitman arm need attention or do I need a new drag link or what?

And if what your saying that you have ran out of tie rod thread some thing got put to gather wrong.
Or you need to drop the tirod at the pitman arm and screw it in.

Yea something isn't right dude. I just had the same problem with the same amount of lift and trac bar and I only had to adjust my drag link a few turns to get my steeringwheel straight.

U could pull ur pitman arm off and turn ur wheel til it's straight and put it back on but u shouldn't have to

Is the stearing gear box centerd(equal amount of turns left to right)?

You should have had it aligned when u did the lift... they would have lined your steering wheel up also... part of there job...

you cannot do this ^^^^. the pitman arm is keyed with a bigger spline, and you could only turn it 180 degrees. plus this would not be the right way to do it even if you could get it to work.

go pay to have an alignment done......ur gonna run into other issues down the road if you dont...even if your rig is driving straight now.

i use a tape measure and an angle finder to do my alignments, but im Hunter Alignment certified and have been building jeeps for 13 years.

no need to have someone else do the alignment.

Solid axle jeeps can be aligned with just a tape measure.

that being said, you may need to start over.

make sure wheels are straight ahead, adjust the toe to "3/16-1/4" toe'd in, disconect drag link from pitman arm, center the steering wheel making sure the pitman arm is in the central position, and that there is equal left and right turns to stop. adjust drag link to the correct spot. if still not right, then you may need a drop pitman arm, or a upgraded steering setup.

Yes there is... he's already said he's got the steering all screwed up and can't get it right... what makes you think he can do his own alignments when he's proven he can't already lol... hints why I say take it to a alignment shop... $45 and its done and over with... and laser computers will get it much closet and right then a measuring tape and unsteady hands... although it can be done good enough... he needs a shop to do a alignment...

No it is not. I can turn left way farther than I can turn right.

This is not a dd anymore I'm not paying to get a trail rig aligned. I don't really care if its not perfectly aligned I Just want the thing to turn equally left and right an the steering wheel straight.
Is it possible i adjusted the drag link the wrong way?

Yes,

Where does the pitman arm point when the steering wheel is centered?
