Door Removal Help, Tried 4 times...
Okay so I have been trying to take off my doors on my 95 XJ for sometime now.
I have used a dremel tool and cut the hinge, but theirs a tab underneath so it won't come off. I can't get that tab off, because the dremel tool wont fit to cut it at that angle.
I have use a T40 socket to undo the screws out but the torx screws are stripping.
I have tried cutting the heads off of the torx screws, but I'm not getting anywhere with my grinder. and the screws are tearing up the blade shooting everything in my face..
And I have tried cutting the heads off with a saw saw
Anyone have any tips/suggestions? I have spent countless hours on it.

A cut off wheel on a grinder?
Weld a nut to the end of the torx bolts?
Take the fender off? It's a lot of work but would make what you're doing 1000 times easier.

I'm going to try a thick grinding wheel because the cut off wheel is getting torn up.
I don't have access to a welder unfortunately.

Are the bolt heads stripping? If so, weld a nut on them.
Are they simply turning in place, like the threads in the door are turning? (nutsert or whatevers in there).
Are you working on the door-side or body-side of the hinge? Or both?
Worst case, maybe hammer the lip flat on the door side plate that's holding you up until you can better access it?

If the cutoff wheels on a grinder will reach it but are shredding, follow your plan.
Switch to the grinding wheel and blast the heads off.
I was gonna say fenders too but if that works....

The dremmel tool will fit. They make bigger, reinforced cut-off wheels. Go grab a set of those. Just jeep working at it. It took me 4-5 hours to do my front doors. Very stubborn hinges. Are you trying to make them removable or just take them off for good? If you're just trying to get them off for good, just take a sawzaw to them.

Technically, I believe only Milwalkee's is branded Sawzall, but we're already off topic! LMAO!
Milwaukee invented it and dubbed it SAWZALL
So everything after that, that used that design is described as a SAWZALL
Nothing else
Sawsaw is definitely not the name, even if not Milwaukee brand.

They didn't dub it Sawzall, they BRANDED it Sawzall, and no other manufacturer can sell theirs as a Sawzall. It's a reciprocating saw in general terms.
However, anyone worth their weight in salt knows what you mean when you say Sawzall. Those same people giggle a little inside when it's called a sawsaw, seesaw, zahzah, etc.
We both know what we mean.
