Default door removal?

I know there are multiple forums about how to remove yours by cutting the hinge pin, but I was wondering why you couldn't just unbolt the hinge from the door and undo the wiring harness. Do you cut just so it is easier to put back or what? Just wondering guys!

So is it possible to just unbolt them? or do you have to cut?

Its a real pain in the *** to unbolt them, most that try it, strip out some of the bolt and have to cut the hinge. But if you do get them unbolted be prepared for a ***** of a time trying to get them back on

A dremel with a cut off wheel was the only thing I could think of to get in there to cut that pin.

As for the wires I just got a set of manual doors and use those. Much easier.

That is one of the mods I want to make to my 2000. I am a little bit worried about the electronics in the door though. I need to find some good plugs to splice in so that part can be disconnected easily when the doors come off.
