Doetsch Tech 8000 shock help....please
Ok...i need the help of my researchers.
I want to buy a buddy's Doetsch Tech 8000 shocks.
Problem is, I want to run 4.5" max lift...and he is running a shock for 5.5-6.5".
Now...extended length I am good with...extra downtravel is good.....
I am worried about collapsed length and over compressing (they have built in bumpstops though which is cool....but...)
Here is the research I need. I have a chart that tells me the collapsed/extended length of their shocks, but I do not know which shocks go with which lift on an XJ.
If I knew..I could look at the collapsed length of those for 4.5" and for 6" and see if I can live with the difference.
Any help would be great!
