I am trying to put a rpm gauge in my 1994 Jeep Cherokee. I have all the wires hooked up, but one the green wire it usually hooks up to the coil but not on the cherokee. Can someone please tell me where the Green Wire is supposed to hook up at.

It will go on the negative side of the coil. depending on the tach brand though you need to make sure it is set up for 6 cylinders. on automoters they have 2 wires, you cut one for 6 cyl. 2 for 4. some have dip switches

I run the same tac (i think).

going into the coil there are 2 wires, if one doesnt work, try the other. it is a 50/50 shot. (I did mine in the dark so i couldnt me as much help on WHICH of the 2 wires tho)

and the instructions are pretty easy so as long as everything else is hooked up right you should be fine.

mine has been good for 4 years now.... (best picture i have right now)

on the side of the motor there are 2 wires going into the coil (probably about 16 awg or so)

you tap into one of those 2 wires for your signal
