buddies rig RC 4.5 lift with spring and longer shackles 31 in treadwrights IMO they are too small 33s would be a lot better. (he's going clayton long arms his spring because the RC kit rides like ***)

Dig through this:

I run the RC 4.5 kit with full leaf packs and 33s. If you want to see it:

I suppose I should comment a little on the lift. It has been a great kit for me. The ride has improved over the two years its been on(softened), although its still a tall short arm lift so rough is expected. An after market track bar is a good idea with this kit. I chose the IRO HD with drop bracket. Its a great product.

If you just want to run 31s consider a 3in lift, it will make you more capable than you think. Not to mention keep you COG low.

I just got one with a 2 in lift and wanted to put 31's , you think I will have a problem rubbing when trailing. Prev owner said he had them with no problems.

RC 4.5" 31" tires. I love it. Minimal rubbing, sufficient flex. Ride isn't too bad.

The rough country cherokee is RCs 4.5 long-arm with 31s. IMO its a very good looking xj. You can see it on RCs site.
