Im new to this whole jeep thing and i want to do an axle swap but i dont have much money. I can get both front and rear axles at a local junk yard for around $200. I was wondering what all id have to get and what modifications would be needed to put dodge ram axles into the jeep. This is my daily driver and i wont be trail riding with it just going through a few fields once in a while.

And what axles now? If your "just going through some fields" don't put new axles under it lol
Depending on what kind of axles they are you will most likely have to cut off and weld new coil buckets shock tabs spring perches lca uca mounts ect ect.
Google is your friend when it come to stuff like that

An axle swap for a rig that might go through a field is a waste of money. Keep the stock axles and use the money for something else.

haha, I also like my 8.25, I should have said most dodge front axles are junk! if its not going to be a wheeler id stick with stock axles or if you just have to do a swap maybe waggy axles.
Axle swap that is not a bolt and budget don't mix.Swapping both axles and doing it right can cost 2 grand or higher real easy. And in your case its really not needed unless you have a dana 35 in the rear then i would swap that out for a chrysler 8.25.The stock axles can be built up to take a beating and up to a 35 inch tire if you drive smart off road.
