Default do i need new longer travel shocks

successfully installed daystar 1.75" lift kit, and am now ruuning 30x9.5 tires with no rubbing, on or off road. happy.

do i need longer shocks now?

Your down travel may be limited by your shock length but if you don't have sway bar disconnects yet then that would probably never be an issue anyway.

rear not an issue anyway, downtravel limited by the springs usually

for a 1.75" lift, you wont need new shocks

Even if you were limited in flex by your shocks, with a 1.75" lift how often are you really flexing out?

I'm assuming this would hold true for the 2" Fat Bob's Garage kit (spacers/shackle) as well? Mine should be here today and I want to go ahead and throw it on so I can get those purty 245/75/16's staring at me on it.

yeah, 2" lift is the safe limit for stock shocks more or less.
