Do I need my T-case Drop?
So originally had the stock drive shaft and had vibes years ago. Did a T-case drop, and that helped... Got a Tom Wood Drive Shaft with SYE and bye bye vibes...
So do I still need this T-case drop? My angle of front drive shaft is about 13-14 degrees, and I'm thinking it's mostly due to that t-case drop? I'd like to get to about half that.
RC 4.5 lift kit, 1 inch T-case drop, adjustable track bar, non adjustable LCAs and UCAs, no shims on front, shims on back. I'm really wanting to get the steering as tight as possible and keeping it that way.
If I'm at no vibrations at all, should I even worry about that angle? Also should I keep that T-case drop now that I have the Tom Wood? It's like all the bandaid stuff the shop put on it before the new DS is still there. Is that bad or necessary?

No, remove the drop because you now have a double-cardan rear driveshaft AND a shorter t-case output yoke, which will help line up the t-case output and differential input better.
A t-case drop might actually be putting it out of optimal alignment

Good to know. Someone also said that a T-case drop will go through mounts faster as well.
Do you think this will help my caster angle by removing the T-case drop? Using an iphone app on bottom of the C I'm getting 15 degrees. Either I'm measuring wrong, the app is not accurate, or I'm somehow facing the opposite problem most people with lifts face.
Or I'm perhaps not measuring in right spot, but it's the same amount of degree when measuring from top of ball joint too.

I think the factory control arm shims have about 1" of adjustment (needs shims), but with a lift you really should have adjustable lower control arms (and ideally adjustable uppers as well)
Here is an alignment guide - worth a read to get a better idea of how the XJ suspension is setup
