Do I need LCAs?
So I bought the jeep with a 4" lift on it and then I put on some new 35s and now with the 35s they're rubbing on the fender. I plan on trimming the fender a bit more but I think it will still rub on the inner fender. Previous owner actually stacked spacers onto stock coils so to kill 2 birds with 1 stone I want to upgrade to full size coils and add an inch to hopefully clear the 35s.
Now once I do this, I will theoretically be at a 5" lift. Can I get away with that until I save up enough more funds to get a LCA kit? What kinds of problems will I be running into?

If it were me I would do uppers and lowers at 5". Most would agree that you should do LCAs at around 3".
I wouldn't do 5" without at least doing the lowers.

Yeah I don't understand doing lower control arms without uppers. I installed a 4.5" rubicon express lift coil up front and decided on adjustable lower arms. Set the arms at 16.5 " and threw them on. Bam, centered axle and no tire rub. Yet my castor was at like 90 degree or 0 checking off the differential bolts. Had to go back to 16" lower arm length to get rid of vibes. Need uppers as well. At least I will. On a 98 xj ax15 n231 setup.
