Disabling ABS with 8.25 swap
On my 99 XJ, I'm swapping in a Chrysler 8.25 for my Dana 35 with ABS. I know I need to pull the fuses and relay for the ABS, but is the rest of the brake system the same (proportioning valve, master cylinder, brake line diameter, etc.). I'd like to remove all the ABS hardware from under the hood also, any concerns with that? I have access to the donor vehicle (also a 99XJ) so I can acquire any parts from the 8.25 brake system I would need.
