Default Did BB, now can't get trackbar back on...

So, I did the front of my BB this afternoon (gonna tackle the rear tomorrow), and I had to drop the trackbar to get the axle to droop far enough to get the springs in/out. Now I've got everything back together, and my trackbar doesn't line up with the bolt hole. It's only off by ~ 1/2". How do I get that bolt back in?

...also, what is the torque spec on the track bar bolt? '93 4.0L...

thanks!

Try turning the steering wheel. It will shift the axle side to side. Works best with someone turning while you watch for it to line up.

It's 2" spacers. and I had to remove the stock rubber spring isolator thingers cause they were shot.

I'll give that a try tomorrow, thanks!

anyone know the torque spec for the passenger side track bar bolt?

you can use a come a long or a ratchet strap in the direction you need the body to move. Hook it to the axle and to the body and tighten it up. Something like that should work. I used a come a long for my 6.5" lift.

I have mine toqued to 130 ft lbs. You want to make sure this is tight, or death wobble will occur.

135 is high
At the axle I think its 55 or 65 foot lbs. and 35 for the Ball joint. I didnt torque mine though I just made sure it was good and tight.
