Death wobble symtoms but no worn parts
So I've battled death wobble before and know the in's and out's as far as worn parts and troubleshooting them. But, now I find myself with a small case of DW at around 45-50 mph and everything is tight.
Some background info...
I battled DW for a month or so for various reasons. In the end, all TRE's, all ball joints, and both hubs were replaced. She drove great until recently. I just added 1.75" spacers to the front and 2" shackles to the rear. My current steering angles are far from perfect. The track bar and draglink actually make an X. I'm running an RC adj track bar. The one with the TRE end. Also, I'm still on stock upper control arms and extended lowers for 3.5" lift. Current height is around 4.5-5" of lift. I do know that I need adjustable uppers. and longer lowers.
My question is...will bad steering angles cause DW? Also, will adj uppers help with those angles?

Alignment is good. Had that done. I pretty much knew it was from my steering angles, I just wanted to know if there was anything else to look for.

Yes, I knew that and adj uppers will make that happen. I'm in the process of finding some now. What's happened is that I still have stock uppers. Because I'm right around 5" it has brought the pinion down and the tre's up causing my drag link and track bar to make a cross.
Again, I'm just making sure that my angles are the cause of this problem. I know they are still a problem and will be addressed no matter what, but if they are the cause of the slight DW, then I know the solution.

I had this same problem on the wifes YJ when she first got it...I pretty much checked everything and after we put new tires on it, no more issues....Not sure if that is your problem but I have run into it twice now where tires were causeing this problem in the 45-55mph range.

Well I havent had the tires balanced in some time so I'll get that done and while I'm at it I'll just get another alignment. I had one done no more than a month ago.
