Default death wobble and stock track bar question

I have been doing a ton of reading about death wobble.

1989 XJ w/ roughly 2" lift on the front. OME leafs in the rear.

Have death wobble at 55. New tires going on Friday and will have an alignment done. I do think its possible this will clean up my problem. Very old tires, as in early 2000's. Jeep sat on blocks for 10+ years.

I see a touch of movement in the driver side of the track bar. Not in the bolt but in the ball joint type end. Not huge. Zero movement on the lower passenger side. Going to be checking other things such as tie rod ends and ball joints tonight. Bushings on control arms look good.

So....

My track bar question is this. With that short of a lift typically an adjustable track bar is not necessary. I know an adjustable one would pull the axle back into better alignment. I know that a track bar with too much movement can be a major cause of death wobble. I have not found any references that the "stock" track bar on this short of lift causes death wobble. I can swap out an OEM Moog track bar for $40. An adjustable is 4 times that. I am not opposed to spending the money, but not interested in spending the money to move an axle a quarter of an inch if it has no noticeable impact on performance or solving the death wobble issue.

So just do an OEM swap track bar or worth adjustable in this scenario?

TIA

Also, I have verified that my ball joints have movement and my tie rod ends have no play. So....running out of culprits.

So my track bar question still stands if anyone has a thought?

Crossing my fingers that the alignment and balance this Saturday with new tires cures my DW.

I ran a stock track bar with a 3" lift and never had a problem.

I have read a couple of times on forums that the Moog track bar is a tad
longer than stock. If that is true, then it would be an improvement for your 2" lift.
