Daytime Running Lights (projection headlight conversion)
Does anyone know if the DRL's can be changed from my headlights to the turning markers? I want to do a projection headlight conversion, but where I live, drl's are required by law. I figure if I change my drl's from the headlights to those, like when you pull on the headlight switch one click, that should cover my bases.

+1 on the HIDs. There are a lot of ways to do it wrong. Are you just looking for more light output? There are a ton of other options like a harness upgrade and H4 conversion. However the harness relays don't keep DRLs either.
Are you trying to pass an inspection where DRLs are looked for just not pulled over? I just turn my lights on to the first click and run the side parking lamps every time I drive.
The DRL module in these things are tricky: they sends about 4 volts into the low beam fillament. If you want to retain that with anything other than the stock configuration you'll need a relay with a very low voltage control side and have to do some wiring.
