Default Dana 60 Swap, DS length?

My Cherokee was in an accident and the front axle needs replacing. I'm trying to decide if now is the time to regear....

1st) With my stock 3.55 gears, I have no driveline vibrations, what are the chances that will change with 4.10's and a detroit locker in the rear?

2nd) The stock rear drive shaft with my Dana 35 will be the wrong length if I swap for a G2 Dana 60 build, correct? I already found a 1310-1350 yoke adapter joint.

I don't think I'll have the time/money to install a SYE kit at the same time.

dude... if these are the questions you've got then you really shouldn't be buying a $4000 axle

you're gonna need a custom driveline for shear strength purposes. you're definitely going to have to regear the front to match the rear. no gears don't cause driveline vibes..

a $200 8.25 rear axle would clearly be the right option for you

Yea i have to agree. Unless youre beating the living ***** out of your rig on 35's or are going 37's plus, you wont need a d60.

You need to a lot more research if you're looking at G2's 60s IMHO.

I don't understand if you have the money for the G2 why can you not afford a SYE? Link to the axle you are looking at please.
