dana 44 swap drive shaft
swapin out my 35 for a 44 and was wondering if my DS will work? have a iron hack n tap with front DS.....

Engine: 4.0 H.O. K&N, Borla headers, custom down pipe, magnaflow hi-flo cat, flowmaster to turn down tip
if you have at least 1 3/4" in the slip part of the drive shaft then it might work, but you will need atleast 3/4"-1" of slip in the DS for it to work. the Dana 44 has the same yoke as the 35, but the pinion is about 1"-1 1/2" longer then the dana 35 so you will need a shorter drive shaft. what size lift are you runnin, and where did you get the shaft for the rear?

not to sure on were the DS came front...a guy from work gave it from me. as for the lift its a 4-4 1/2 lift

well a hour at the junk yard and $215 later i got my dana 44......has 3.55 gears and a L.S.
so happy cant wait to gt her in the jeep.
anyone have pics of a trussed 44?
