Default Dana 44 swap!

Okay guys I know this has been talked about before. But I can't really seem to find anything on it and have even called some of the local mechanic shops to see if I'm correct on this, but I have an xj 97 that I swapped with Dana 44 axles front a rear. Now the drive shafts ended up perfect for the rear except the u joint was a different fit. it took I believe a 153 or something like that. I'll get back to that when I find out I'm 100% right on that but the front looks like the original u joint will fit with the Dana 44 yoke. The previous axle was the Dana 30 and I was just wondering if anybody of the top of there head would know if it's an exact match or if I would have to get a different drive shaft or anything like that. I haven't had a chance yet to throw everything together yet but I'm working on it.

It's either an 03 rubicon or 04 I want to say 04 because when I do all the brake calipers and everything I used 04 rubicon stuff. So I'm gonna say 04 iv heard of people using those kind of those number rather

Would that be a D44a instead of a true D44? I know my 04 WJ has the D44a in it.

I have a pair of 05 LJ rubicon axles...and as far as I know (ain't installed them yet), they are the same ujoints as stock 30/35 axles use.

It had everything already set up and some extra stuff with it I got both for a good price on it. I'd probably say 5,000 for both. Well I had to change my u joint because it didn't match the yoke on the Dana 44 now the previous owner may have put an aftermarket yoke on it so it wouldn't match would be the only thing I can think of
