dana 35 shock mounts
Just thinking on cheap side and creative side too and yet also trying to get more length out of my shocks before I spend the money on shocks . I was thinking of cutting the shock mounts and flipping them on top of the axle. Which in theory give me more clearance and more room for the shock to potentially move would it be worth the trouble or would it just be a bad idea

I've seen this before:

They also make a crossover bar to mount up top so you can adjust the angle of the top part of the shocks.
