dana 300 swap
I've been looking into going "stupid" with my XJ this summer. I've found a deal on a pass drop 44 and been thinking about running a dana 300 with a novak clocking rig. Is any one running a Dana 300 on here and if so are you twin sticked? I'm trying to plan out the center layout with the parking brake lever and going to a twin stick t-case. Any tips photos or ideas are welcome.

i once used a twin stick in a cj w/ a 300, found it difficult to deal with. never once even used or needed the options a twin stick offers. went back to the oem single shifter. much easier to use. imo

Usually the reasons one goes with a D300 (or use it in adoubler):
- Gear driven case
- Smaller
- Stronger (32 Spline Outputs upgrade)
- Front and Rear neutral ability (i.e. F&R Digs)
- Front and Rear 4 Low, 4 High, etc.
Or, just look at doing an Atlas...

Then you didn't use it for what it's best for...
