Hey all I am in the process of rebuilding/long arm lifting a 92 cherokee that was in an accident and need some advice on front axles. The original dana 30 HP in 3.55 was damaged beyond repair and I've been struggling to find a replacement axle for it. I have a dana 30 LP in 3.73 sitting around so I might put that in so I can drive it in 2wd. My question is should I regear the dana 30 LP to 3.55 or continue to look for a dana 30 HP axle? Thanks.

You can find cheap donor XJ axles in junkyards everywhere for dirt cheap. And most of them have 3.55 (2nd most is 3.07). Get one and throw some parts at it while its out (ball joints, unit bearings, axle shaft u-joints, steering ends, brakes) and bolt it right in.
Bolting up the LP would get you around town in 2WD just fine until you get a good HP axle to swap.
