Default D35 to D44 Help

Ok so im going to be swapping my 35 for a 44 (out of an xj). What all should I expect to have to do? Im confident I can do everything other than disconnecting and reconnecting the DS as I have never done this. The brakes seem pretty straight forward and ive installed enough lifts to know how to get the ubolts off and leafs off the perches. So first my question is will my driveshaft work with the 44 and how do I get it off and re-attach it? 2nd the d44 needs a e brake cable so how do I go about installing one?

Your 35 e brake cable should work. D shaft should work, its an 8mm bolt to take it off. Was the jeep it came from the same height as you? You will want to set the pinion angle. Is it an xj 44?

Well, the angle that your t case output points down at you want the axle pinion to point up at the same degree. Max 7 degree per joint. You do have a slip yoke nit a cv driveshaft right? If you don't have a welder you can use degree shims to get it close.

When I spin the hubs on the d44 should there be a noise coming from it? Not a bad noise but a steady tapping noise...

There should be a clip on the back you can pry off or pull off with pliers.

Ill take a look at it. Do you know how to get the ebrake cables off the D35 so I can put em in the 44? They go into the back of the brake but I don't see how they come off
