You could do the box4rocks doubler kit and have a nice dual t Case setup. Not sure about the yota axles, but I'm pretty sure they are stout. What size tires you runnin?

OK if you want to run this setup it will take some work.
The d300 you have 2 choices... flip it and run it drivers drop. It requires specail shifters or a flip kit. Option 2 is to run it Passenger drop. No mods needed to the t-case, but you will have to clearance your floor and change your front axle to a passenger drop.
Basically to run yota's in your axle you will need to build a truss and link mounts.
As for strength the yota axle is stronger then a d44, but a lil weaker then a d60. The major issues is steering knuckles, and the birfield shafts. Lots of aftermarket support for them.
Bullet proof setup is Longfield 30 spline, with birfield eliminators, and while you are at it.. get his knuckle wiper/seals. Also add a HP third member and you are golden. Add the knuckle truss, and shave the housing.
