Default D30 cross pin doesn't fit

See if anyone else can help me out. I ordered a spartan locker PN: SL D30-27 and a new Yukon 3.73 up carrier PN: YC D706008.

I got the locker all set up but the cross pin is too large for the carrier. Is this a flaw in the carrier? A smaller pin wouldn't work with the Spartan right? Correct me if I'm wrong.

I got it to fit. I called Yukon and they actually said it's a common problem.. they don't me to take a round file and clean up the hole.. I did that, between that and a 32oz hammer, it's all together.

I think you will be happy with the Spartan up front. I had that for over a year and it made a tremendous difference offroad. Some folks tell horror stories about auto lockers up front on pavement during the winter, but I had no issues at all and in fact felt much more in control. You do have to keep an eye on stuff but I think that's prudent no matter what kind of vehicle you are driving.

Thanks for the input! Being I'm up in MN, I thought about just putting the spider gears back in during the winter.. but I may have to give it a try!
