You quoted me saying 'Cut the hinge off the BODY', and then showed a pic of the hinge cut on the DOOR. Big difference. As you stated, the door half of the hinge is easily replaced. The body side is welded on, not so easy to replace.

But i agree with you, cutting the hinges off the body side is a non-recoverable deal.
The junkyard route is still somewhat feasible, but a lot of extra work to get that body side hinge cut out and cleaned up.
