cut fenders
Just wondering the best way to cut out fenders on an XJ without it looking crappy. Im gonna be finishing up my 3 inch R.C. lift. And can already tell the 31's I got are gonna look a little wimpy. Rather be running like a 33 and suggestions for the flares?

I just used a jigsaw with a metal blade. It took me two Milwaukee blades to do all four fenders. I found that it helped a lot to put that blue painters tape on the metal plate of the jigsaw so it doesnt scratch your good metal. Also, let the saw do the work, do not force it and take your time. Also be aware that the rear fenders have pinch welds, if you cut above the first profile line, you will separate the sheets and have to re weld them.

This does not fit in fab. Always read the Read before posting thread to help get you where you are going.
Also, use the search function between new posts and quick links. There are dozens of threads on cutting fenderflares, and there are a lot of differant ways on doing it. One might strike your fancy.
