Curious what degree shims on a 6.5 inch lift

Just wondering what degree shims some of you have ran on a 6.5 inch lift?
I've heard everything from 2-6 and there's a Cherokee i always see running around with atleast a 6 inch lift that doesn't have any at all and I would definitely think he has some vibrations, so any input is appreciated!

You won't get a solid answer. Maybe ballpark, but not solid. Every Jeep is different. It will also depend on what has been done, like SYE or transfer case drop. Right now my rig has 4* shims and sits near 6.5" of lift. I have an SYE. I am in the process of re-doing my entire suspension at the moment, so it will probably change. I have 2* shims lined up for the new kit, plus the shims I already have, but I'll have to wait until install to determine what will be used.

Yeah, I know, an answer that's like nailing jello to a wall, but there it is.

Just wanted to see what kinda setups other people were running so I had a general idea.

I have an SYE and new driveshaft to put on and the kit itself came with a t-case drop, so worse comes to worse and I'm getting vibes no there should be no reason I couldn't put that on temporarily until I got the shims right?

If you have an SYE and DS, just install it. Don't bother with the TC drop.

I'm at 6" of lift with SYE and no shims and don't get any vibes at any speeds. I have extended shackles which I'm sure help a bit.

Definitely skip the t-case drop since you have an SYE.

Here's this if you haven't seen it.

Yes "don't" install the TC drop kit as he said. If the lift is done use an angle finder to find the correct shims required for the differential all are different my 4 1/2" lift with an SYE required 3* shims in the leaf packs.
