Crown Heavy Duty tie rod question
So I can't tell of I'm crazy or what. Bought this crown tie rod and drag link set and the rod ends look different thank normal to me. is this blue piece a cap for shipping or does this stay on the ends? The inner black section is...removable? Thought this was always a fixed grease bulb and not removable.
I'm assuming once torqued down this blue section seals up so the grease stays in the TRE but I'm not positive. Anyone ordered this kit before?

The blue part is just there for shipping, remove it and leave the black boot on when you install it. Yes the black one will seat better once installed but isn't pressed or sealed to the tie rod end. It is just a boot to help keep grease in and debris out.
