Default cowl intake or cone filter? what's best in water

should i make a cowl snorkel or just stick on a cone filter and tuck up? water won't get in it unless i stay super deep in water and if i splash water up the hood it won't effect cone filter...thoughts?

Cowl intake. Check out dukie564's thread on it, there are a lot of ideas in there.

Cone where the box is is just to look cool. It will get soaked with splashing water from the vehicle's movement and the fan and suck in mostly hot air from the engine. Stock air box is better than those gimmicks.

Cowl is better than cone. Snorkel is better, most of the time, than cowl.
