How are they on ice, pa weather here is getting bad

Are they really loud?

Do they wear fast he drives alot for his job.

Anygood in snow or mud?

Thanks for your replies ahead of time I did some research nothing seems that recent. Just trying to help him out so im hoping you all can help me.

I'm with Serious on this one...I run 35" Discoverers on mine and have zero complaints. I have driven them in about every scenario you can think of, bought them in Denver, moved to Texas, and now in SoCal...so they've seen 3 different states and are still holding strong. My Jeep is my daily driver, and so far they handle snow and ice like a champ, are good in mud, and also on dirt/sand. Noise level is a bit more than an A/T tire, but I like that, and any M/T tire will be louder regardless. I would purchase them again.

You forgot to say how good they wear. Ran mine in Missouri then moved to Colorado.Performed great. Lasted forever.

I have to agree with all of the above. I have 37k miles on a set of 315/75r16s on my TJ. I do a 5 tire rotation every 5k miles. I estimate there is still 1/3 tread left. Spectacular for an aggressive tire if you ask me. Work well on the slick stuff and I can't hear the tires over my soft top noise!

theyre a fanstastic tire and you cant go wrong for the price. i got them for 172 a piece off of treaddepot.com i think theyre 180 now tho.

as far as noise goes theyre quieter than my BFG ATs i had. theyve done great in the mud, rocks, and rain. i couldnt tell you about snow tho.

ive got about 7k or so on them and they still look new other than a screw stuck in one of them(hasnt gone flat tho!)

I run 35 12.5 17 copper stts on my duramax, I love them. Had them about 3 years now with no complaints. About 25k on them and still ~65* tread. Never had a problem on snow ice or mud with them here is wa. I always have weight in the back in the winter as well. But I would defiantly buy them and recommend them to anyone. They are quieter then the friends toyos as well.
