I apologize now - this is kinda long winded

NO this isn't a silly toggle switch question

I can't afford to risk JYD ECU's that could fry my wires (unlikely but possible)
and I can't afford new.

SO... I purchased the $36 coolant fan relay- bypass relay

This thing:

The coolant fan is running now however it still kicks on as the temps get to the little white line before the big white line
Also I need to figure out a wire I can spice into that is key on only, I don't like the fact that the fan waits about 5 seconds after the key off to kick on and runs until it is cooled down to some 150*ish temp.
Lastly, i don't think I connected the A/C wire to correct wire (there is only ONE - incase you don't have a manual) I'm still unsure why its not coming on - since the A/C control wire is connected...

Before you ask, YES i have attempted to adjust it ( as they are adjustable engauge temp)
I've turned it up (nearly overheated) and I have turned it down (mostly effective - especially highway)

I do not think the switch is faulty, i think the type of thermostat sensor diode is ineffective.

Here is my "AH HA" moment from earlier today...
Since the current diode is the type that is wedged into the fins, the "cooler" air would give a slightly false reading...
If I cut the thermostat sensor off and splice into my temp sensor wires that go to my dash gauge - then it should be dead on everytime... right?
