Control arms HELP!
I decided to finish my lift today but I've been stuck trying to get the new control arms on. The axle is too far back and it won't go any lower because the drag link won't come off. The pinion is pointing way high (I took out the shaft earlier). I don't have any ratchet straps. And I need to park it or my apartment complex will tow it from in front of my garage. Thanks guys. Posted it in the lift question thread too.

Not sure I am understanding you correctly but when I did mine. I had a jack on the "frame" triangle right after the control arm, used the jack to take off some pressure and was able to roll the tire to get the bolts for the control arm in on the axle.

Both tires. If you could get another jack or jack stand on the other side frame that would be better, but you don't need much movement.

Yeah that's pretty far off still. The best guess I would have on moving it is maybe some rope into the holes on the arm and bracket?

You could try to push the axle forward with your feet and have a friend push the bolt through. I had the same issue but I grabbed my truck backed it up to the front bumper and threw a srap around my axle and just went to town racheting.
Also if you can't do that you could try to push it with your feet and get it close enough so you can stick a drift punch or a long skinny bolt. That way you could reposition your self and keep pushing the rest of the way.

Put a jack under the front of the coil bucket and raise it up.
Put a pipe wrench on the tube (jaws up) and a jack under the handle.
Either way will rotate your axle.

What tube Serious? I'm going to go get a set of ratchet straps today. I tried to move the jeep without LCA last night. Very slowly. The tires we're contacting the reAR of the front fender but I tried couldn't steer at all. The springs were bent funny because the pinion was so torqued. However. When going reverse then hitting the brakes hard. The entire axle aligned itself, springs went straight and the axle was pointed the right way. Unfortunately the minute you let the brakes go the entire axle rolled back to the old position. Not safe.

And thanks for all your help guys. I had a tow truck come and move me into a parking space. Better than having to recover it from an impound yard when it still can't drive.

This is more common than you think when installing a lift.
It will likely require a friend to help.
I've witnessed someone chocking the front end and backing the jeep up with the help of a friend. It got the job done but I would go with the below method.
Support the front end of the jeep with jack stands. Then pull the coil springs, track bar, swaybar links, driveshaft, and anything else you may have hooked up. Then install the control arms in first! Followed by the coil springs, ect...

Drag link was never able to come off. Springs are kind of tough to maneuver. I'm going to try and have someone back it up like before and I will ratchet strap the axle to the front tow hitch, see if that will help.
