Control arms????
I have read several posting concerning the installation of WJ control arms on the XJ.
So now i AM CONFUSED. Which is better or there is a better??
Use the WJ lower control arms or install the after market control arms, adjustable or non adjustable???????
The vehicle is a 1988 XJ.
I will be installing a 3 inch lift kit from Rusty's with the 180 Lb front coils, A winch and heavier front bumper is in the future.
Tires will be 31 x 10.50 and I have not decided if I want to go to after market rims with a shallower back spacing or stick with the stock rims.
I am still collecting parts.
I do not want to lose any of the turning radius as I will use the vehicle for prospecting, mild to moderate off roading to get to ghost towns, old mines. and some off road camping.
This is my First XJ. except for my wife's car the GC which is her DD. I have only had wranglers that were used off road.

you just have to cut down the bushings on the WJ ones.
but i would honestly get adjustable lowers to start. it will be money well spent and you will be happier in the long run
