Control arms
I'm researching on making some short arms. I can't seem to find an answer. I'll be using stock bushings. What tube do i use for them? They press in right?

you're making... short arms? why not save up a couple bucks and make some mid arms or long arms the right way. this sounds janky
you should be using 2" x .25" wall DOM bare minimum

Stock bushings work fine. I forget the diameter of tubing you need to use, but a tape measure will help ya out.
I would at least try to use a joint at one end of the control arms for better flex and less binding. Anything thats 2.63 inches wide would work, currie jhonny joints, 1.25 inch heims with misalignment spacers, and most any other joint out there offers that mounting width.
Remember to put a bend in the arms or to offset one of the bushings/joints so the arm doesnt hit your shock mount when the suspension is unloaded.
