Default Control Arms

I just got a set of procomp lower control arms and have some issues.
In the bracket connoted to the frame the was a spacer bracket holding the stock arms in, when i tried to put the new arms in it would not fit so i took it out and it seemed to fit however now the arm does not fit into the axle bracket, it is too wide. did i buy the wrong arm or am i doing something wrong? thanks

That spacer you removed is for adjusting your caster. You can run without it but it may knock your alignment out if you wheel regularly. And Welcome to the forum.
