I'm not worried about cheap I just have this available to me at work and I like that it's stainless. 89 do you use 1 1/4" joints on upper and lower axle side?

Pipe is for pressure. DOM is for structure. Pipe is cast...even if its stainless. BTW, stainless is tougher, not usually harder. Hard to machine, but not necessarily hard to deflect. Just my .02

Its harder, ouoour machines are rated for stainless and another rating for mild based on it being harder. I can dent and bend equal thickness mild way easier then stanless

We have a hydraulic press here I was thinking of running some test and seeing how much pressure it takes to bend. And smack some with a hammer cause I highly doubt I could ding a sch 10 pipe with a hammer

Not sure why that is but from using it everyday ill tell you 316 is slightly harder then 304 and both are harder to bend, roll, cut. We also use al29-4c which is super hard to do those things with. Our(thats how i ment to spell it) sheer cuts 1/4" cold roll but can only cut 18g stainless. If its not harder then i need to know why its harder to work with.

Im not a machinist but the machinist is the guy telling us its harder, maybe just saving himself the time of explaining it molecular structure, haha. One of those strange things i guess i mean when you pick up a sheet of 18g crs and it bends then pick up 20g 304 its crazy stiff youd think it was harder. Learn something everyday on this forum, now i gotta let the machinist have it.
