Default Control arm drop or long arms?

Got a 1996 jeep cherokee with 6.5 rough country lift (short arm). It rides really rough... Any opinions whether to go with control arm drop or long arms? Cad's are a lot cheaper !

Long arms are best but budget and offroad environment can effect it

you lose a little ground clearence with the dropbrackets. if you think youll go to long arms someday i would save up for long arms and skip the dropbrackets. if you think youll stick with drop brackets get them

Drop brackets work just fine as long as you have adjustable control arm for realingment .

I installed the RCX control arm setup. LOVE IT !!!

I also added fixed LCAs and adjustable upper CAs.
Double shear track bar (fixed length) with both upper and lower track bar relocation brackets.

Works like a charm. I beat it pretty good too.

NEVER got it hung up on anything either.

Side view of my rig
Rolling on 33 x 12.50s and sitting at 6.5" of lift.
The CANYON wheels are offset enough that the 12.50s tuck under the stock fender flares.
See for yourself from this front view.

ktmracer419's Low COG thread is one of the most useful resources on here for good information about building a capable XJ. Check it out:
